Very unique and beautiful restaurant connected with bar that is very aesthetically pleasing. The staff is amazing, our server was very nice and helpful. Since the location of the restaurant is just a few meters from the Trevi fountain, we were scared that the food would be just mediocre as it often happens, but we were surprised how amazing everything was. The cheese and meat plate was served with probably the best fresh focaccia i have ever had. We also had one pizza (the dough and ingredients were of a great quality) and honey-orange chicken with vegetables. Everything tasted amazing and was definitely worth the price which is a little higher, but considering the location it is understandable. We will definitely come back and recommend stopping by to everyone!
Food was delicious, real carbonara. Service was really good, and the price was reasonable. There is a large variety of food to choose from. It’s also a lounge bar with good cocktails.
My visit to Comodo Mercato Trevi was an absolute delight and set the perfect tone for my time in Rome. Located near the iconic Trevi Fountain, this charming restaurant exceeded all expectations and is highly recommended to anyone seeking an authentic Italian dining experience.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The rustic decor, soft lighting, and attentive staff created an ambiance that was both cozy and romantic, making it an ideal spot for couples and travelers alike.
But what truly stole the show was the food. Comodo Mercato Trevi delivered a culinary masterpiece with each dish. The taste and flavor were exceptional, showcasing the true essence of Italian cuisine. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was evident in every bite. Whether it was the perfectly cooked pasta, the flavorful sauces, or the delectable desserts, every dish was a masterpiece.
I couldn't agree more with the recommendation to make this your first choice when near the Trevi Fountain. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that sets the bar high for your culinary adventures in Rome. Comodo Mercato Trevi is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor the essence of Italian gastronomy in a charming and unforgettable setting.
What a place, the architecture and the design if this place is very nice, the different stations for every food section is just woww.
The food was good, more to the commercial side, but really enjoyable.
Serving italian cuisine and sushi as well, and having a bar, which i will try for sure, it looks so cool.
Will visit for sure again to try the other items on the menu.
Last night at Comodo Mercato, my husband and I had the best dinner we’ve had while in Rome. Located just two blocks away from the Trevi Fountain, this hidden gem is waiting to be discovered!
The wait staff was attentive, the drinks and food were delectable, and the atmosphere was stunning. This eatery is styled after a “Supermarket Style” restaurant, with 5 different restaurants at the same place! There truly is something for everyone here. If you’re looking for a bit of a different experience that is still very Rome/Italian, we can’t recommend this place more!
A restaurant that from the outside you wouldn't guess is so big inside!
There are 4 kitchens and a large variety of food.
It is also possible to order gluten-free
pasta/gluten-free sushi.
The food is very tasty, fresh, lovely service.
We will definitely be back :)
The food was tasty. I really liked the appetizer (aubergine+cheese lasagna). We ordered an appetizer, three different types of pasta, drinks and desserts. All tasty!
The quality was good, a bit on the pricey side.
The atmosphere was good. The restaurant has an interesting mixed style interior design, a bit boho, vintage, 50s, farm house!
Overall the service was good, but it was hard to ask a waiter/waitress for something, although it was not a busy time. They didn’t come to check if everything is going well or if we need anything, and it was hard to get their attention.
All in all a nice experience, worth the visit!
Nice atmosphere, place feels fancy yet the prices are average for this location. Service is really slow. Waited eternity to order and then another eternity to receive food and wine. Meanwhile other people who ordered after us got the same type of food faster. (it was 15:00 in the afternoon, and the place was half empty). Pizza was good (juicy, flavorful), although bruschetta and pasta were kinda mediocre, something was missing in these dishes to unite the flavors of the ingredients. Also the bread was really hard to chew - (as it was roasted and then stayed somewhere for a while). At least wine was tasty.
Toilets were dirty and women's toilet hasn't even had water to clean your hands (some notes on the wall there say "please use disinfectant", but there were not disinfects anywhere near available). At least toilet for disabled persons had water.
This probably could be a good place for evening cocktails, but definitely not for a lunch. So, I doubt that I would go here for the second time.
